From the lowliest Workers Hut to the grandest Palatial Mansion, most people live in a dwelling of some description. The type of dwelling a person lives in is determined by their title. Some unfortunate individuals have no where to live and these people are referred to as Beggars.
Workers Hut Edit
Workers Huts are inhabited primarily by the NPC Serfs, the main workers in the game world. Many different families can live in a worker's hut.
The Hut is the dwelling that you start with as a Commoner.
In order to live in or build a house you must hold the title of Yeoman.
Gabled House Edit
Gabled houses are reserved for those who have attained the title of Citizen.
Patrician House Edit
Patrician houses are reserved for those who have attained the title of Free Citizen.
Mansions are reserved for those who have attained the title of Baron.
Country Estate Edit
There are two separate buildings called Country Estates in The Guild II. One costs 85,000 gold pieces and requires the title of Nobleman. The other costs 150,000 gold pieces and requires the title of Baron.
Pleasure Palace Edit
The pleasure palace is the most prestigious housing available in the game. It requires the title of Allodial Baron.
